On June 10, all young adults (ages 18-35) who are interested in Quaker leadership and intergenerational governance are encouraged to attend our second young adult specific training on fiduciary responsibility and the financial role of governing bodies. While the topic may sound dry, we assure you that it is one of the most critical components of board service, and frequently one of the most uncomfortable topics in Quaker organizations! We will have a guest speaker (TBA) and will use case studies from two Quaker organizations to familiarize ourselves with fiscal vocabulary and issues.
